Please read about the types of wood products and process we use when producing our quality hybrid timberframe structures. If you have any questions about our process, please contact us to speak directly with a sales representative.

Wood Quality
Douglas Fir, our wood of preference, is the strongest structural wood and features a warm and beautiful color. We use old growth Douglas Fir from our local supplier on Vancouver Island. However, any grade is available including: Douglas Fir, Red & Yellow Cedar, Spruce and Hemlock.

Joinery
The joinery is extremely tight and sturdy, so much so, that a piece of paper will not slide inside. All products are test fitted in our 12,000 square foot shop, then sanded and finished. We use traditional mortise and tenon joinery, secured with oak pegs. No bolts, nails or steel plates.
